Biography
Sergey Bodrov is an athlete, traveler, and organizer of sports events. His expedition record includes taking part in the first Kazakhstani overland expedition to the South Pole in 2011 and a ski expedition to the North Pole.
During the Antarctic journey, he was responsible for the team’s life support. He later worked alongside Tolegen Tastanbekov running the headquarters for the “Pole of Independence” expedition, supporting participants along the route.
Sergey’s athletic path began in cycling: in 1995 he earned the title of Master of Sport. He later moved into triathlon and organizing IRONMAN competitions in Kazakhstan. His experience combines an athlete’s endurance with practical skills from polar expedition work.
