Biography
Konstantin Orlov is a traveler and polar explorer who has taken part in overland and ski expeditions. In 2010, together with Stanislav Makarenko, he took part in an overland crossing from Novolazarevskaya Station to the South Pole. The team covered 2,308 kilometers in 108 hours — an achievement recognized by the Guinness Book of Records.
In 2011, Konstantin took part in the first Kazakhstani overland expedition to the South Pole, serving as navigator. His experience also includes a ski expedition to the North Pole. Route preparation, navigation, and teamwork under harsh natural conditions occupy an important place in his expedition record.
