These Terms of Use (hereinafter — the “Agreement”) govern the terms of use of the KazGeo website (hereinafter — the “Website”) by users.
By using the Website, the user confirms that they have read this Agreement and accept its terms.
1.1. The Website is intended to provide users with information about KazGeo’s activities, projects, and scientific, research, expedition, educational, cultural, and other events and initiatives.
1.2. This Agreement applies to all visitors and users of the Website.
1.3. Use of the Website constitutes acceptance by the user of the terms of this Agreement.
1.4. If the user does not agree with the terms of this Agreement, they must stop using the Website.
2.1. All materials posted on the Website, including texts, photographs, images, graphic materials, logos, videos, audio materials, maps, documents, and other materials, may be subject to copyright and other intellectual property rights.
2.2. Website materials may be used by the user exclusively for informational and other lawful purposes, unless otherwise expressly stated on the relevant page or in relation to a specific material.
2.3. Copying, distribution, publication, modification, or other use of Website materials for commercial purposes is permitted only with the prior permission of the rights holder, unless otherwise provided by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2.4. When using Website materials in cases permitted by law, the source of the material must be indicated.
3.1. KazGeo strives to ensure the relevance and accuracy of the information posted on the Website.
3.2. Information on the Website may be of a reference, informational, or general nature.
3.3. Certain information may be changed, updated, or removed without prior notice to users.
3.4. The publication of information about events, projects, research, expeditions, and other initiatives does not guarantee that they will take place on the specified date or under the specified conditions, unless expressly provided otherwise in the relevant announcement or document.
4.1. The user may send inquiries, suggestions, questions, and other messages through feedback forms, email, and other channels provided by the Website.
4.2. The user is obliged to provide accurate information where it is necessary for processing the inquiry.

5.2. The use of KazGeo’s logos, trademarks, trade name, and other designations without appropriate permission is not allowed, except in cases provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
5.3. Rights to photographs, video materials, documents, and other materials of third parties are retained by the respective rights holders.
6.1. The Website may contain links to third-party websites, information resources, and services.
6.2. KazGeo is not responsible for the content, availability, privacy policy, or terms of use of third-party resources.
6.3. The user’s transition to a third-party resource is carried out independently and at their own risk.
When using the Website, the user is prohibited from:

8.2. KazGeo takes reasonable measures to ensure the stable operation of the Website, but does not guarantee its uninterrupted and error-free operation.
8.3. In the event of technical work, updates, or circumstances beyond KazGeo’s control, access to certain functions of the Website may be temporarily limited.
8.4. KazGeo is not liable for the inability to use the Website for reasons beyond KazGeo’s reasonable control.
9.1. The processing of users’ personal data is carried out in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Privacy Policy posted on the Website.
9.2. By providing personal data through the Website’s forms, the user confirms their consent to its processing in accordance with the established purposes and conditions.
9.3. The user is obliged not to provide, through the Website, personal data of third parties without the appropriate legal grounds or their consent, where such consent is required by law.
10.1. KazGeo reserves the right to amend this Agreement in connection with changes in legislation, Website functionality, or the procedure for its use.
10.2. A new version of the Agreement takes effect from the moment it is posted on the Website, unless otherwise provided by the new version.
10.3. Continued use of the Website after changes have been made constitutes acceptance by the user of the new version of the Agreement.
11.1. This Agreement is governed by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
11.2. All disputes and disagreements arising in connection with the use of the Website shall be resolved in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
